While I haven't read this book I completely agree with the premise of it. It's amazing how taking an extra couple of minutes to show someone you care can make such a big difference. Or when you're talking to a company and you make small talk, that instant connection, being nice, it warms up the person on the other end of the phone. It might be hard to 'be nice' all the time - especially if you have to keep a business moving forward ... but being a friendly caring person never hurts, often helps (in personal and biz situations, and feels good.
